Much like everything else, our cities are living beings. Like creatures, they survive and adapt to their surroundings, engaging with the lands around them, while also sustaining a macrocosm of fascinating lives within.
Their birth, a collision of lives, ideas, traditions, technologies, and wonders.
Their presence has always been a complex dance between people, the land, the sky, the animals, the vegetation, yet somehow they grow. Grow beyond what we could have imagined, what we could have planned. To points where we don't even recognize them. To points where they are now lost.
Knowing what we've lost can show us so much more about what can be found.
